Then make me the delicious food that I love and bring it to me to eat, so that I can bless you before I die."

May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you so that you become an assembly of peoples.

These are the tribes of Israel, 12 in all, and this was what their father said to them. He blessed them, and he blessed each one with a suitable blessing.

This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave the Israelites before his death.

By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and, he worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.

And after the birth of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and fathered sons and daughters.

Enoch walked with God, and he was not there, because God took him.

These are the family records of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among his contemporaries; Noah walked with God.

When Abram was 99 years old, the LORD appeared to him, saying, "I am God Almighty. Live in My presence and be devout.

She quickly emptied her jug into the trough and hurried to the well again to draw water. She drew water for all his camels

And Solomon replied, "You have shown great and faithful love to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

I keep the LORD in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

and whenever you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: "This is the way. Walk in it."

They will be exposed to the sun, the moon, and the whole heavenly host, which they have loved, served, followed, pursued, and worshiped. [Their bones] will not be collected and buried but will become like manure on the surface of the soil.

Both were righteous in God's sight, living without blame according to all the commandments and requirements of the Lord.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God's glory.

For our boast is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you, with God-given sincerity and purity, not by fleshly wisdom but by God's grace.

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him,

Then Jacob made a vow: "If God will be with me and watch over me on this journey, if He provides me with food to eat and clothing to wear,

This stone that I have set up as a marker will be God's house, and I will give to You a tenth of all that You give me."

Trust in the LORD and do what is good; dwell in the land and live securely.

He redeems your life from the Pit; He crowns you with faithful love and compassion.

He satisfies you with goodness; your youth is renewed like the eagle.

There is nothing better for man than to eat, drink, and to enjoyhis work. I have seen that even this is from God's hand.

For who can eat and who can enjoy life apart from Him?

The sleep of the worker is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich permits him no sleep.

Here is what I have seen to be good: it is appropriate to eat, drink, and experience good in all the labor one does under the sun during the few days of his life God has given him, because that is his reward.

All man's labor is for his stomach, yet the appetite is never satisfied.

he will dwell on the heights; his refuge will be the rocky fortresses, his food provided, his water assured.

"This is why I tell you: Don't worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Can any of you add a single cubit to his height by worrying?

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!

So don't worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?'

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

But godliness with contentment is a great gain.

But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.
