So it was, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, He remembered Abraham and brought Lot out of the middle of the upheaval when He overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.
Then God remembered Rachel. He listened to her and opened her womb.
So God heard their groaning, and He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The next morning Elkanah and Hannah got up early to bow and to worship the LORD. Afterwards, they returned home to Ramah. Then Elkanah was intimate with his wife Hannah, and the LORD remembered her.
Remember me for this, my God, and don't erase the good deeds I have done for the house of my God and for its services.
Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion in keeping with Your abundant, faithful love.
Remember them, my God, for defiling the priesthood as well as the covenant of the priesthood and the Levites.
I also arranged for the donation of wood at the appointed times and for the firstfruits. Remember me, my God, with favor.
If only You would hide me in Sheol and conceal me until Your anger passes, that You would appoint a time for me and then remember me.

The LORD has sworn by the Pride of Jacob: I will never forget all their deeds.
LORD, I have heard the report about You; LORD, I stand in awe of Your deeds. Revive [Your work] in these years; make [it] known in these years. In [Your] wrath remember mercy!
The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God's presence; He gave her the cup filled with the wine of His fierce anger.
For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.

For the creation was subjected to futility-- not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it-- in the hope
that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of corruption into the glorious freedom of God's children.
For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. The LORD drove the sea [back] with a powerful east wind all that night and turned the sea into dry land. So the waters were divided,
At Your rebuke the waters fled; at the sound of Your thunder they hurried away--
mountains rose and valleys sank-- to the place You established for them.
You set a boundary they cannot cross; they will never cover the earth again.
The north wind produces rain, and a backbiting tongue, angry looks.
