The Canaanite border went from Sidon going toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and going toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

Samson went to Gaza, where he saw a prostitute and went to bed with her.

Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines and as far as the border of Egypt. They offered tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

And may he rule from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.

And let all kings bow down to him, all nations serve him.

The LORD my God has now given me rest all around; there is no enemy or crisis.

But a son will be born to you; he will be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies, for his name will be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel during his reign.

May the mountains bring prosperity to the people, and the hills, righteousness.

May the righteous flourish in his days, and prosperity abound until the moon is no more.

The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this.
