O Lord
Exodus 9:15
By now I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague, and you would have been obliterated from the earth.
Exodus 9:16
However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you My power and to make My name known in all the earth.
Joshua 7:9
When the Canaanites and all who live in the land hear about this, they will surround us and wipe out our name from the earth. Then what will You do about Your great name?"
1 Samuel 17:45-47
45
David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel's armies-- you have defied Him.
46
Today, the LORD will hand you over to me. Today, I'll strike you down, cut your head off, and give the corpses of the Philistine camp to the birds of the sky and the creatures of the earth. Then all the world will know that Israel has a God,
47
and this whole assembly will know that it is not by sword or by spear that the LORD saves, for the battle is the LORD's. He will hand you over to us."
1 Kings 8:43
may You hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and do according to all the foreigner asks You for. Then all the people on earth will know Your name, to fear You as Your people Israel do and know that this temple I have built is called by Your name.
1 Kings 18:36
At the time for offering the [evening] sacrifice, Elijah the prophet approached [the altar] and said, "LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that at Your word I have done all these things.
1 Kings 18:37
Answer me, LORD! Answer me so that this people will know that You, Yahweh, are God and that You have turned their hearts back."
1 Kings 20:28
Then the man of God approached and said to the king of Israel, "This is what the LORD says: 'Because the Arameans have said: The LORD is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys, I will hand over this entire immense horde to you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
Psalm 67:1
[For the choir director: with stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.] May God be gracious to us and bless us; look on us with favor Selah
Psalm 67:2
so that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.
Psalm 83:18
May they know that You alone-- whose name is Yahweh-- are the Most High over all the earth.
Daniel 4:34-37
34
But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.
35
All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does what He wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can hold back His hand or say to Him, "What have You done?"
36
At that time my sanity returned to me, and my majesty and splendor returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and my nobles sought me out, I was reestablished over my kingdom, and even more greatness came to me.
37
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of heaven, because all His works are true and His ways are just. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
