harden
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 14:8
The LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the Israelites, who were going out triumphantly.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 14:17
I am going to harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them, and I will receive glory by means of Pharaoh, all his army, and his chariots and horsemen.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 4:21-31
21
The LORD instructed Moses, "When you go back to Egypt, make sure you do in front of Pharaoh all the wonders I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart so that he won't let the people go.
22
Then you will say to Pharaoh: This is what the LORD says: Israel is My firstborn son.
23
I told you: Let My son go so that he may worship Me, but you refused to let him go. Now I will kill your firstborn son!"
24
On the trip, at an overnight campsite, it happened that the LORD confronted him and sought to put him to death.
25
So Zipporah took a flint, cut off her son's foreskin, and threw it at Moses' feet. Then she said, "You are a bridegroom of blood to me!"
26
So He let him alone. At that time she said, "You are a bridegroom of blood," referring to the circumcision.
27
Now the LORD had said to Aaron, "Go and meet Moses in the wilderness." So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.
28
Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had sent him to say, and about all the signs He had commanded him [to do].
29
Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the Israelites.
30
Aaron repeated everything the LORD had said to Moses and performed the signs before the people.
31
The people believed, and when they heard that the LORD had paid attention to them and that He had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 7:3
But I will harden Pharaoh's heart and multiply My signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 7:13
However, Pharaoh's heart hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 7:14
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Pharaoh is unresponsive: he refuses to let the people go.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 11:8
as it is written: God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day.
I will be
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 14:18
The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I receive glory through Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 9:16
However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you My power and to make My name known in all the earth.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 15:10
But You blew with Your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 15:11
LORD, who is like You among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, revered with praises, performing wonders?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 15:14-16
14
When the peoples hear, they will shudder; anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.
15
Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified; trembling will seize the leaders of Moab; the inhabitants of Canaan will panic;
16
and terror and dread will fall on them. They will be as still as a stone because of Your powerful arm until Your people pass by, LORD, until the people whom You purchased pass by.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_2 18:11
Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods, because He [did wonders] at the time the Egyptians acted arrogantly against Israel."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_16 9:10
You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, all his officials, and all the people of his land, for You knew how arrogantly they treated our ancestors. You made a name for Yourself that endures to this day.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 2:11
Human pride will be humbled, and the loftiness of men will be brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted on that day.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 2:12
For a day belonging to the LORD of Hosts is [coming] against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up-- it will be humbled--
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 20:9
But I acted for the sake of My name, so that it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations they were living among, in whose sight I had made Myself known to Israel by bringing them out of Egypt.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 28:22
You are to say: This is what the Lord God says: Look! I am against you, Sidon, and I will display My glory within you. They will know that I am the LORD when I execute judgments against her and demonstrate My holiness through her.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 39:13
All the people of the land will bury [them] and their fame will spread on the day I display My glory." [This is] the declaration of the Lord God.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_27 4:30-37
30
the king exclaimed, "Is this not Babylon the Great that I have built by my vast power to be a royal residence and to display my majestic glory?"
31
While the words were still in the king's mouth, a voice came from heaven: "King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared that the kingdom has departed from you.
32
You will be driven away from people to live with the wild animals, and you will feed on grass like cattle for seven periods of time, until you acknowledge that the Most High is ruler over the kingdom of men, and He gives it to anyone He wants."
33
At that moment the sentence against Nebuchadnezzar was executed. He was driven away from people. He ate grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with dew from the sky, until his hair grew like eagles' [feathers] and his nails like birds' [claws].
34
But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.
35
All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does what He wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can hold back His hand or say to Him, "What have You done?"
36
At that time my sanity returned to me, and my majesty and splendor returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and my nobles sought me out, I was reestablished over my kingdom, and even more greatness came to me.
37
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of heaven, because all His works are true and His ways are just. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 9:17
For the Scripture tells Pharaoh: For this reason I raised you up: so that I may display My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 9:22
And what if God, desiring to display His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience objects of wrath ready for destruction?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 9:23
And [what if] He did this to make known the riches of His glory on objects of mercy that He prepared beforehand for glory--
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 19:1-6
1
After this I heard something like the loud voice of a vast multitude in heaven, saying: Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,
2
because His judgments are true and righteous, because He has judged the notorious prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality; and He has avenged the blood of His servants that was on her hands.
3
A second time they said: Hallelujah! Her smoke ascends forever and ever!
4
Then the 24 elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who is seated on the throne, saying: Amen! Hallelujah!
5
A voice came from the throne, saying: Praise our God, all you His servants, you who fear Him, both small and great!
6
Then I heard something like the voice of a vast multitude, like the sound of cascading waters, and like the rumbling of loud thunder, saying: Hallelujah-- because our Lord God, the Almighty, has begun to reign!

The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out My hand against Egypt, and bring out the Israelites from among them."

This is what the LORD says: Here is how you will know that I am the LORD. Watch. I will strike the water in the Nile with the staff in my hand, and it will turn to blood.
