The corpses of these people will become food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land, with no one to scare them off.
then I will do this to you: I will bring terror on you-- wasting disease and fever that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will sow your seed in vain because your enemies will eat it.
I will send wild animals against you that will deprive you of your children, ravage your livestock, and reduce your numbers until your roads are deserted.
I will bring a sword against you to execute the vengeance of the covenant. Though you withdraw into your cities, I will send a pestilence among you, and you will be delivered into enemy hands.
Your corpses will be food for all the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the land, and no one will scare them away.
The LORD also speaks of Jezebel: The dogs will eat Jezebel in the plot of land at Jezreel:

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of their riders, and the flesh of everyone, both free and slave, small and great."
