About brotherly love: you don't need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of God's revelation. You need milk, not solid food.

The anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you don't need anyone to teach you. Instead, His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie; just as it has taught you, remain in Him.

Eli's sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD

"As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent-- Jesus Christ.

I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD. They will be My people, and I will be their God because they will return to Me with all their heart.

No one will harm or destroy on My entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is filled with water.

The moonlight will be as bright as the sunlight, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter-- like the light of seven days-- on the day that the LORD bandages His people's injuries and heals the wounds He inflicted.

Then all your children will be taught by the LORD, their prosperity will be great,

The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you; but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor.

Then all your people will be righteous; they will possess the land forever; they are the branch I planted, the work of My hands, so that I may be glorified.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD's glory, as the waters cover the sea.

All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal Him.

It is written in the Prophets: And they will all be taught by God. Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to Me--

I have revealed Your name to the men You gave Me from the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

Now to whom you forgive anything, I do too. For what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, it is for you in the presence of Christ,

For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness"-- He has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true One. We are in the true One-- that is, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

I will purify them from all the wrongs they have committed against Me, and I will forgive all the wrongs they have committed against Me, rebelling against Me.

In those days and at that time-- [this is] the LORD's declaration-- one will search for Israel's guilt, but there will be none, and for Judah's sins, but they will not be found, for I will forgive those I leave as a remnant.

and none there will say, "I am sick." The people who dwell there will be forgiven [their] iniquity.

"It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more.

I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Who is a God like You, removing iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not hold on to His anger forever, because He delights in faithful love.

All the prophets testify about Him that through His name everyone who believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins."

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,

and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything, which you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.

And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Liberator will come from Zion; He will turn away godlessness from Jacob.

And this will be My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins."

[He adds]: I will never again remember their sins and their lawless acts.

Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
