that I have not
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 8:6-18
6
He said to me, "Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel is committing here, so that I must depart from My sanctuary? You will see even greater abominations."
7
Then He brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked there was a hole in the wall.
8
He said to me, "Son of man, dig through the wall." So I dug through the wall, and there was a doorway.
9
He said to me, "Go in and see the terrible abominations they are committing here."
10
I went in and looked, and there engraved all around the wall was every form of detestable thing, crawling creatures and beasts, as well as all the idols of the house of Israel.
11
Seventy elders from the house of Israel were standing before them, with Jaazaniah son of Shaphan standing among them. Each had an incense burner in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising up.
12
Then He said to me, "Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his idol? For they are saying: The LORD does not see us. The LORD has abandoned the land."
13
Again He said to me, "You will see even greater abominations, which they are committing."
14
So He brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the LORD's house, and I saw women sitting there weeping for Tammuz.
15
And He said to me, "Do you see [this], son of man? You will see even greater abominations than these."
16
So He brought me to the inner court of the LORD's house, and there were about 25 men at the entrance of the LORD's temple, between the portico and the altar, with their backs to the LORD's temple and their faces [turned] to the east. They were bowing to the east in worship of the sun.
17
And He said to me, "Do you see [this], son of man? Is it not enough for the house of Judah to commit the abominations they are practicing here, that they must also fill the land with violence and repeatedly provoke Me to anger, even putting the branch to their nose?
18
Therefore I will respond with wrath. I will not show pity or spare [them]. Though they cry out in My ears with a loud voice, I will not listen to them."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 9:8
While they were killing, I was left alone. And I fell facedown and cried out, "Ah, Lord God! Are You going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel when You pour out Your wrath on Jerusalem?"
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 9:9
He answered me: "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is extremely great; the land is full of bloodshed, and the city full of perversity. For they say: The LORD has abandoned the land; He does not see.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_1 18:22-33
22
The men turned from there and went toward Sodom while Abraham remained standing before the LORD.
23
Abraham stepped forward and said, "Will You really sweep away the righteous with the wicked?
24
What if there are 50 righteous people in the city? Will You really sweep it away instead of sparing the place for the sake of the 50 righteous people who are in it?
25
You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won't the Judge of all the earth do what is just?"
26
The LORD said, "If at Sodom I find 50 righteous people in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake."
27
Then Abraham answered, "Since I have ventured to speak to the Lord-- even though I am dust and ashes--
28
suppose the 50 righteous lack five. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?" He replied, "I will not destroy [it] if I find 45 there."
29
Then he spoke to Him again, "Suppose 40 are found there?" He answered, "I will not do [it] on account of 40."
30
Then he said, "Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak further. Suppose 30 are found there?" He answered, "I will not do [it] if I find 30 there."
31
Then he said, "Since I have ventured to speak to the Lord, suppose 20 are found there?" He replied, "I will not destroy [it] on account of 20."
32
Then he said, "Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak one more time. Suppose 10 are found there?" He answered, "I will not destroy [it] on account of 10."
33
When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, He departed, and Abraham returned to his place.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_5 8:2
Remember that the LORD your God led you on the entire journey these 40 years in the wilderness, so that He might humble you and test you to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_16 9:33
You are righteous concerning all that has come on us, because You have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_20 26:2
Like a flitting sparrow or a fluttering swallow, an undeserved curse goes nowhere.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 7:17-28
17
Don't you see how they behave in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18
The sons gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead dough to make cakes for the queen of heaven, and they pour out drink offerings to other gods so that they provoke Me to anger.
19
But are they really provoking Me?" [This is] the LORD's declaration. "Isn't it they themselves [being provoked] to disgrace?"
20
Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: "Look, My anger-- My burning wrath-- is about to be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the tree of the field, and on the fruit of the ground. My wrath will burn and not be quenched."
21
This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: "Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices, and eat the meat yourselves,
22
for when I brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak with them or command them concerning burnt offering and sacrifice.
23
However, I did give them this command: Obey Me, and then I will be your God, and you will be My people. You must walk in every way I command you so that it may go well with you."
24
Yet they didn't listen or pay attention but walked according to their own advice and according to their own stubborn, evil heart. They went backward and not forward.
25
Since the day your ancestors came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent all My servants the prophets to you time and time again.
26
However, they wouldn't listen to Me or pay attention but became obstinate;they did more evil than their ancestors.
27
"When you speak all these things to them, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer you.
28
You must therefore declare to them: This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not accept discipline. Truth has perished-- it has disappeared from their mouths.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 22:8
"Many nations will pass by this city and ask one another: Why did the LORD do such a thing to this great city?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 22:9
They will answer: Because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD their God and worshiped and served other gods."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_27 9:7
Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel-- those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where You have dispersed them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward You.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_27 9:14
So the LORD kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all He has done. But we have not obeyed Him.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 2:5
But because of your hardness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God's righteous judgment is revealed.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 15:4
Lord, who will not fear and glorify Your name? Because You alone are holy, because all the nations will come and worship before You, because Your righteous acts have been revealed.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 16:6
Because they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, You also gave them blood to drink; they deserve it!
