But I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters. I will give them to you as daughters, but not because of your covenant.

I will restore the fortunes of Egypt and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin. There they will be a lowly kingdom.

"So this is what the Lord God says: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have compassion on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for My holy name.

After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his [previous] possessions.

Oh, that Israel's deliverance would come from Zion! When the LORD restores His captive people, Jacob will rejoice; Israel will be glad.

This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: "When I restore their fortunes, they will once again speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities: May the LORD bless you, righteous settlement, holy mountain.

Yet, I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the last days. [This is] the LORD's declaration. The judgment on Moab ends here.

But after that, I will restore the fortunes of the Ammonites. [This is] the LORD's declaration.

In the last days, I will restore the fortunes of Elam. [This is] the LORD's declaration.

Yes, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

On that day Israel will form a triple [alliance] with Egypt and Assyria-- a blessing within the land.

The LORD of Hosts will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt My people, Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance."

If they will diligently learn the ways of My people-- to swear by My name, 'As the LORD lives,' just as they taught My people to swear by Baal-- they will be built up among My people.

And even they, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again.

So that you will not be conceited, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery: a partial hardening has come to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

And this will be My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.

since God's gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

so they too have now disobeyed, [resulting] in mercy to you, so that they also now may receive mercy.
