After He came to the house, He let no one enter with Him except Peter, John, James, and the child's father and mother.

They started laughing at Him, but He put them all outside. He took the child's father, mother, and those who were with Him, and entered the place where the child was.

[This one will] not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt-- a covenant they broke even though I had married them"-- the LORD's declaration.

But when the crowd had been put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

So He went to her, took her by the hand, and raised her up. The fever left her, and she began to serve them.

Then He took the child by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum!" (which is translated, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!").

He took the blind man by the hand and brought him out of the village. Spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, "Do you see anything?"

But Jesus, taking him by the hand, raised him, and he stood up.

Then He came up and touched the open coffin, and the pallbearers stopped. And He said, "Young man, I tell you, get up!"

The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to.

Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice

and come out-- those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

After He said this, He shouted with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"

Then Peter sent them all out of the room. He knelt down, prayed, and turning toward the body said, "Tabitha, get up!" She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up.

in God's sight. As it is written: I have made you the father of many nations. He believed in God, who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist.
