Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

We know that God has spoken to Moses. But this man-- we don't know where He's from!"

Then God spoke all these words:

Do not have other gods besides Me.

You must not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the fathers' sin, to the third and fourth [generations] of those who hate Me,

Do not misuse the name of the LORD your God, becauswhite, and tasted like wafers [mo misuses His name.

You are to labor six days and do all your work,

For the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and everything in them in six days; then He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and declared it holy.

Do not murder.

Do not steal.

Do not covet your neighbor's house. Do not covet your neighbor's wife, his male or female slave, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

This is the law Moses gave the Israelites.

Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, "Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances I am proclaiming as you hear them today. Learn and follow them carefully.

Moses gave us instruction, a possession for the assembly of Jacob.

He is the one who was in the congregation in the desert together with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our forefathers. He received living oracles to give to us.

After arranging a day with him, many came to him at his lodging. From dawn to dusk he expounded and witnessed about the kingdom of God. He persuaded them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.

Now we know that whatever the law says speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God's judgment.

For no flesh will be justified in His sight by the works of the law, for through the law [comes] the knowledge of sin.

The law came along to multiply the trespass. But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more,

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now if the ministry of death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel were not able to look directly at Moses' face because of the glory from his face-- a fading [glory]--

For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness overflows with even more glory.

For all who [rely on] the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written: Cursed is everyone who does not continue doing everything written in the book of the law.

But the law is not based on faith; instead, the one who does these things will live by them.

Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's household, as a testimony to what would be said [in the future].

But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household, whose household we are if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.

But finding fault with His people, He says: "Look, the days are coming," says the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah--

"But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days," says the Lord: "I will put My laws into their minds, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins."

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

And all the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring because you have obeyed My command."

Faithful love and truth will join together; righteousness and peace will embrace.

[A Maskil of Ethan the Ezrahite.] I will sing about the LORD's faithful love forever; with my mouth I will proclaim Your faithfulness to all generations.

For I will declare, "Faithful love is built up forever; You establish Your faithfulness in the heavens."

He has remembered His love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God's victory.

You will show loyalty to Jacob and faithful love to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers from days long ago.

He has helped His servant Israel, mindful of His mercy,

just as He spoke to our ancestors, to Abraham and his descendants forever.

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and provided redemption for His people.

just as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets in ancient times;

He has dealt mercifully with our fathers and remembered His holy covenant--

since we have been rescued from our enemies' clutches, to serve Him without fear

And child, you will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare His ways,

Because of our God's merciful compassion, the Dawn from on high will visit us

Since He raised Him from the dead, never to return to decay, He has spoken in this way, I will grant you the faithful covenant blessings made to David.

For David, after serving his own generation in God's plan, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and decayed.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,

But now, apart from the law, God's righteousness has been revealed-- attested by the Law and the Prophets

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under law but under grace.

Now I say that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises to the fathers,

Again it says: Rejoice, you Gentiles, with His people!

And again, Isaiah says: The root of Jesse will appear, the One who rises to rule the Gentiles; in Him the Gentiles will hope.

For every one of God's promises is "Yes" in Him. Therefore the "Amen" is also through Him for God's glory through us.

According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

You did not delight in whole burnt offerings and sin offerings.

After He says above, You did not desire or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings, (which are offered according to the law),

By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.

All these were approved through their faith, but they did not receive what was promised,

since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.

When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands.

All the angels stood around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

Then one of the elders asked me, "Who are these people robed in white, and where did they come from?"

For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His sanctuary. The One seated on the throne will shelter them:

Because the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; He will guide them to springs of living waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
