For God, whom I serve with my spirit in [telling] the good news about His Son, is my witness that I constantly mention you,

because the Spirit's law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

What the law could not do since it was limited by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending His own Son in flesh like ours under sin's domain, and as a sin offering,

For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

I will declare the LORD's decree: He said to Me, "You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.

And there came a voice from heaven: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him!

But Jesus kept silent. Then the high priest said to Him, "By the living God I place You under oath: tell us if You are the Messiah, the Son of God!"

He has put His trust in God; let God rescue Him now-- if He wants Him! For He said, 'I am God's Son.'"

The angel replied to her: The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.

I have seen and testified that He is the Son of God!"

"Rabbi," Nathanael replied, "You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"

"For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Anyone who believes in Him is not judged, but anyone who does not believe is already judged, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

"I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

The Father and I are one."

do you say, 'You are blaspheming' to the One the Father set apart and sent into the world, because I said: I am the Son of God?

Thomas responded to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

But these are written so that you may believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing you may have life in His name.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you handed over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.

[[And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart you may." And he replied, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]]

Immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues: "He is the Son of God."

God is faithful; by Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

But when the completion of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves,

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation;

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead-- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may have fellowship along with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

The one who commits sin is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the Devil's works.

Now this is His command: that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another as He commanded us.

God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.

Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God-- God remains in him and he in God.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah has been born of God, and everyone who loves the parent also loves his child.

And who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

(The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. The one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son.)

The one who has the Son has life. The one who doesn't have the Son of God does not have life.

"To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: "The Son of God, the One whose eyes are like a fiery flame, and whose feet are like fine bronze says:

When your time comes and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up after you your descendant, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to Me. When he does wrong, I will discipline him with a human rod and with blows from others.

Your house and kingdom will endure before Me forever, and your throne will be established forever.'"

His offspring will continue forever, his throne like the sun before Me,

like the moon, established forever, a faithful witness in the sky." Selah

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this.

"The days are coming"-- [this is] the LORD's declaration-- "when I will raise up a righteous Branch of David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.

In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is what He will be named: The LORD Is Our Righteousness.

In those days and at that time I will cause a Branch of righteousness to sprout up for David, and He will administer justice and righteousness in the land.

For this is what the LORD says: David will never fail to have a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel.

In that day I will restore the fallen booth of David: I will repair its gaps, restore its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old,

The historical record of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:

and Jesse fathered King David. Then David fathered Solomon by Uriah's wife,

and Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary, who gave birth to Jesus who is called the Messiah.

But after he had considered these things, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what has been conceived in her is by the Holy Spirit.

Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

And all the crowds were astounded and said, "Perhaps this is the Son of David!"

Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly tormented by a demon."

"What do you think about the Messiah? Whose Son is He?" "David's," they told Him.

The Lord declared to my Lord, 'Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet'?

Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call His name JESUS.

He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.

And Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David,

While they were there, the time came for her to give birth.

Doesn't the Scripture say that the Messiah comes from David's offspring and from the town of Bethlehem, where David once lived?"

Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn an oath to him to seat one of his descendants on his throne.

After removing him, He raised up David as their king, of whom He testified: ' I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will carry out all My will.'

"From this man's descendants, according to the promise, God brought the Savior, Jesus, to Israel.

Keep in mind Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descended from David, according to my gospel.

The forefathers are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Messiah, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

But when the completion of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: He was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.

But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now.

Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
