I never stop giving thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.

Will he delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?

When Daniel learned that the document had been signed, he went into his house. The windows in its upper room opened toward Jerusalem, and three times a day he got down on his knees, prayed, and gave thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

Will not God grant justice to His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [to help] them?

But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to stand before the Son of Man."

All these were continually united in prayer, along with the women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and His brothers.

But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the preaching ministry."

He was a devout man and feared God along with his whole household. He did many charitable deeds for the [Jewish] people and always prayed to God.

So Peter was kept in prison, but prayer was being made earnestly to God for him by the church.

Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.

Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving.

I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as my forefathers did, when I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day.

May Your eyes be open to Your servant's petition and to the petition of Your people Israel, listening to them whenever they call to You.

This grace was given to me-- the least of all the saints!-- to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah,

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and width, height and depth,

always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer,

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone,

for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints

because I hear of your love and faith toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints.
