You know that I've worked hard for your father
I've been with you these 20 years. Your ewes and female goats have not miscarried, and I have not eaten the rams from your flock.
I did not bring you any of the flock torn by wild beasts; I myself bore the loss. You demanded [payment] from me for what was stolen by day or by night.
There I was-- the heat consumed me by day and the frost by night, and sleep fled from my eyes.
Aram had gone on raids and brought back from the land of Israel a young girl who served Naaman's wife.
She said to her mistress, "If only my master would go to the prophet who is in Samaria, he would cure him of his skin disease."
But his servants approached and said to him, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more [should you do it] when he tells you, 'Wash and be clean'?"
Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.
Don't [work only] while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God's will from your heart.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God's glory.
