"Look, I am coming quickly! Blessed is the one who keeps the prophetic words of this book."
The great Day of the LORD is near, near and rapidly approaching. Listen, the Day of the LORD-- there the warrior's cry is bitter.
The nations were angry, but Your wrath has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets, to the saints, and to those who fear Your name, both small and great, and the time has come to destroy those who destroy the earth.
Tell the righteous that it will go well [for them], for they will eat the fruit of their deeds.
Woe to the wicked-- [it will go] badly [for them], for what they have done will be done to them.
See, the Lord God comes with strength, and His power establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His gifts accompany Him.
Look, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, "Say to Daughter Zion: Look, your salvation is coming, His reward is with Him, and His recompense is before Him."
Now the one who plants and the one who waters are equal, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
If anyone's work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward.
For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.
What then is my reward? To preach the gospel and offer it free of charge, and not make full use of my authority in the gospel.
I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.
For the Son of Man is going to come with His angels in the glory of His Father, and then He will reward each according to what he has done.
He will repay each one according to his works:
eternal life to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth, but are obeying unrighteousness;
affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;
but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.
There is no favoritism with God.
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
