But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or even to look in it.

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands.

And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!

Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and all that fills it resound.

before the LORD, for He is coming-- for He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with His faithfulness.

Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts.

Praise Him, highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens.

He set them in position forever and ever; He gave an order that will never pass away.

lightning and hail, snow and cloud, powerful wind that executes His command,

wild animals and all cattle, creatures that crawl and flying birds,

young men as well as young women, old and young together.

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people He favors!

so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow-- of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth--

if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith, and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. [This gospel] has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a minister of it.

They raise their voices, they sing out; they proclaim in the west the majesty of the LORD.

Sing a new song to the LORD; [sing] His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea with all that fills it, you islands with your inhabitants.

They said with a loud voice: The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!

and made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father-- to Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to You. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.

May the LORD God, the God of Israel, be praised, who alone does wonders.

May His glorious name be praised forever; the whole earth is filled with His glory. Amen and amen.

And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [[For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]]

The forefathers are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Messiah, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ-- to Him be the glory forever! Amen.

to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Be conscientious about yourself and your teaching; persevere in these things, for by doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.

If anyone speaks, [his speech should be] like the oracles of God; if anyone serves, [his service should be] from the strength God provides, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

To Him be the dominion forever. Amen.

to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now, and forever. Amen.

Immediately I was in the Spirit, and there in heaven a throne was set. One was seated on the throne,

and the One seated looked like jasper and carnelian stone. A rainbow that looked like an emerald surrounded the throne.

Then I saw one like a slaughtered lamb standing between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth.

And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals; because You were slaughtered, and You redeemed [people] for God by Your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.

And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!
