David was a great king because by the time he became king, he had learned to put his hope in God alone. His hope was not in his position, military prowess, or reputation. This is what God invites all of us to do. In the first message of this series, we will learn how we transfer our hope to God instead of other people or things. He is our only hope. He is King!
