Most people want to believe their life has meaning and purpose; they want to believe that somehow the sum total of their days on earth will add up to a lasting legacy, a force for change, or some other meaningful impact that will leave an imprint on at least a small corner of humanity. The problem is we often end up looking down upon others in order to prop up an inflated image of ourselves. Instead of seeing the opportunities to serve the needs of those around us, we clutch after opportunities to seize the promotion of self. As difficult as this truth is for each of us to hear, it is the message many of us need, and it is the message that God wants to use to bring us to a place of greater humility where true and lasting significance can be found. Join us for this 5-part series as Creek’s End celebrates 15 years of ministry.

What’s really important to God? If you study the Bible, you’ll discover that it says that God is on an all-out search for two kinds of people. Read it from cover to cover, and you’ll find that it pictures God in search mode. But He’s not like a casual shopper who strolls through the mall just to see what’s there. He’s intense and intent about finding and working with two kinds of people, and all of us can fit into one of these two categories. Come find out where you fit in.

But God did create each of us with a purpose, and as a church a divine purpose. We just have to make sure our purpose aligns with God’s purpose. In this message we will discover what God’s purpose is.
