Most people want to believe their life has meaning and purpose; they want to believe that somehow the sum total of their days on earth will add up to a lasting legacy, a force for change, or some other meaningful impact that will leave an imprint on at least a small corner of humanity. The problem is we often end up looking down upon others in order to prop up an inflated image of ourselves. Instead of seeing the opportunities to serve the needs of those around us, we clutch after opportunities to seize the promotion of self. As difficult as this truth is for each of us to hear, it is the message many of us need, and it is the message that God wants to use to bring us to a place of greater humility where true and lasting significance can be found. Join us for this 5-part series as Creek’s End celebrates 15 years of ministry.

We all face spiritual monsters. These monsters seek to devour our faith, pulling us away from the victory we have in Christ. This series highlights four different “monsters” Christians must battle as they seek to live faithful lives of obedience to God. Christ is the true monster-slayer, offering us freedom through His death and resurrection.
Open mouth . . . insert foot. Don’t we all wish we could avoid that scenario? All of us have had moments when we wish we could reach out and retrieve the words that just left our tongue. And all of us have had our lives shaped by the words spoken to us. Over and over again we are reminded of their power and how one of the most important skills we can learn is how to constantly monitor OUR BIG FAT MOUTH. Join us for this 4-part series.

When we’re pushed to our limit, we have a choice to make. Will we choose the path of least resistance or will we have the courage to take a stand? When we do take a stand, in the right ways, at the right time, for the right reason, it can change the course and direction of our lives. The flip side is true, as well. When we compromise on the wrong things, in the wrong ways, at the wrong times, it can cost us way more than we can even imagine at this time in our lives. In this series we’re looking at how we can take a stand for the things that matter most, as well as some stories of the most courageous people in the Bible.
