instead of bringing it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to present [it] as an offering to the LORD before His tabernacle-- that person will be charged with murder. He has shed blood and must be cut off from his people.

In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to one's account when there is no law.

that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said about him, "Here is a true Israelite; no deceit is in him."

For our boast is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you, with God-given sincerity and purity, not by fleshly wisdom but by God's grace.

So rid yourselves of all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all slander.

Like newborn infants, desire the unadulterated spiritual milk, so that you may grow by it in [your] salvation,
