ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 2:1-4
1
Why do the nations rebel and the peoples plot in vain?
2
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers conspire together against the LORD and His Anointed One:
3
"Let us tear off their chains and free ourselves from their restraints."
4
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord ridicules them.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 83:2-8
2
See how Your enemies make an uproar; those who hate You have acted arrogantly.
3
They devise clever schemes against Your people; they conspire against Your treasured ones.
4
They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation so that Israel's name will no longer be remembered."
5
For they have conspired with one mind; they form an alliance against You--
6
the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,
7
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre.
8
Even Assyria has joined them; they lend support to the sons of Lot. Selah

9
Then Zerah the Cushite came against them with an army of one million men and 300 chariots. They came as far as Mareshah.
10
So Asa marched out against him and lined up in battle formation in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
11
Then Asa cried out to the LORD his God: "LORD, there is no one besides You to help the mighty and those without strength. Help us, LORD our God, for we depend on You, and in Your name we have come against this multitude. LORD, You are our God. Do not let a mere mortal hinder You."
12
So the LORD routed the Cushites before Asa and before Judah, and the Cushites fled.
13
Then Asa and the people who were with him pursued them as far as Gerar. The Cushites fell until they had no survivors, for they were crushed before the LORD and before His army. So the people of Judah carried off a great supply of loot.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_14 20:1
After this, the Moabites and Ammonites, together with some of the Meunites, came [to fight] against Jehoshaphat.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_14 20:20-24
20
In the morning they got up early and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa. As they were about to go out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be established; believe in His prophets, and you will succeed."
21
Then he consulted with the people and appointed some to sing for the LORD and some to praise the splendor of [His] holiness. When they went out in front of the armed forces, they kept singing: Give thanks to the LORD, for His faithful love endures forever.
22
The moment they began [their] shouts and praises, the LORD set an ambush against the Ammonites, Moabites, and [the inhabitants of] Mount Seir who came [to fight] against Judah, and they were defeated.
23
The Ammonites and Moabites turned against the inhabitants of Mount Seir and completely annihilated them. When they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped destroy each other.
24
When Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and there were corpses lying on the ground; nobody had escaped.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 8:9
Band together, peoples, and be broken; pay attention, all you distant lands; prepare for war, and be broken; prepare for war, and be broken.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 8:10
Devise a plan; it will fail. Make a prediction; it will not happen. For God is with us.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 37:21-36
21
Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent [a message] to Hezekiah: "The LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Because you prayed to Me about Sennacherib king of Assyria,
22
this is the word the LORD has spoken against him: The young woman, Daughter Zion, despises you and scorns you: Daughter Jerusalem shakes [her] head behind your back.
23
Who is it you have mocked and blasphemed? Who have you raised [your] voice against and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel!
24
You have mocked the LORD through your servants. You have said: With my many chariots I have gone up to the heights of the mountains, to the far recesses of Lebanon. I cut down its tallest cedars, its choice cypress trees. I came to its remotest heights, its densest forest.
25
I dug [wells] and drank water. I dried up all the streams of Egypt with the soles of my feet.
26
Have you not heard? I designed it long ago; I planned it in days gone by. I have now brought it to pass, and you have crushed fortified cities into piles of rubble.
27
Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.
28
But I know your sitting down, your going out and your coming in, and your raging against Me.
29
Because your raging against Me and your arrogance has reached My ears, I will put My hook in your nose and My bit in your mouth; I will make you go back the way you came.
30
" 'This will be the sign for you: This year you will eat what grows on its own, and in the second year what grows from that. But in the third year sow and reap, plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
31
The surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward.
32
For a remnant will go out from Jerusalem, and survivors from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this.'
33
" 'Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the king of Assyria: He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow there or come before it with a shield or build up an assault ramp against it.
34
He will go back on the road that he came and he will not enter this city. [This is] the LORD's declaration.
35
I will defend this city and rescue it, because of Me and because of My servant David.'"
36
Then the angel of the LORD went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. When the people got up the [next] morning-- there were all the dead bodies!

12
Shining morning star, how you have fallen from the heavens! You destroyer of nations, you have been cut down to the ground.
13
You said to yourself: "I will ascend to the heavens; I will set up my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of the [gods'] assembly, in the remotest parts of the North.
14
I will ascend above the highest clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."
15
But you will be brought down to Sheol into the deepest regions of the Pit.
16
Those who see you will stare at you; they will look closely at you: "Is this the man who caused the earth to tremble, who shook the kingdoms,
earth

the earth trembled, and the skies poured down [rain] before God, the God of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 97:5
The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD-- at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.

and said to them, "I know that the LORD has given you this land and that dread of you has fallen on us, and everyone who lives in the land is panicking because of you.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_6 2:11
When we heard this, we lost heart, and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on earth below.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_6 2:24
They told Joshua, "The LORD has handed over the entire land to us. Everyone who lives in the land is also panicking because of us."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 64:1
If only You would tear the heavens open [and] come down, so that mountains would quake at Your presence--
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 64:2
as fire kindles the brushwood, and fire causes water to boil-- to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that nations will tremble at Your presence!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_30 9:5
The Lord, the God of Hosts-- He touches the earth; it melts, and all who dwell on it mourn; all of it rises like the Nile and subsides like the Nile of Egypt.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_30 9:13
Hear this! The days are coming-- the LORD's declaration-- when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the one who treads grapes, the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, and all the hills will flow [with it].
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_34 1:5
The mountains quake before Him, and the hills melt; the earth tremblesat His presence-- the world and all who live in it.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_35 3:5
Plague goes before Him, and pestilence follows in His steps.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_35 3:6
He stands and shakes the earth; He looks and startles the nations. The age-old mountains break apart; the ancient hills sink down. His pathways are ancient.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_35 3:10
The mountains see You and shudder; a downpour of water sweeps by. The deep roars with its voice and lifts its waves high.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_35 3:11
Sun and moon stand still in [their] lofty residence, at the flash of Your flying arrows, at the brightness of Your shining spear.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_61 3:10-12
10
But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that [day] the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.
11
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, [it is clear] what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness
12
as you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be on fire and be dissolved, and the elements will melt with the heat.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 6:13
the stars of heaven fell to the earth as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a high wind;
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 6:14
the sky separated like a scroll being rolled up; and every mountain and island was moved from its place.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 20:11
Then I saw a great white throne and One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.
