If she is a wall, we will build a silver parapet on it. If she is a door, we will enclose it with cedar planks.
Also, send me cedar, cypress, and algum logs from Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut the trees of Lebanon. Note that my servants will be with your servants
to prepare logs for me in abundance because the temple I am building will be great and wonderful.
The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon.
But if I should be delayed, [I have written] so that you will know how people ought to act in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.
And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: He was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
Coming to Him, a living stone-- rejected by men but chosen and valuable to God--
you yourselves, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
