and said, "By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD: Because you have done this thing and have not withheld your only son,

And all the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring because you have obeyed My command."

stay in this land as a foreigner, and I will be with you and bless you. For I will give all these lands to you and your offspring, and I will confirm the oath that I swore to your father Abraham.

because Abraham listened to My voice and kept My mandate, My commands, My statutes, and My instructions."

[the covenant] He made with Abraham, swore to Isaac,

"I will give the land of Canaan to you as your inherited portion."

I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey-- the territory of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

Therefore, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh so that you may lead My people, the Israelites, out of Egypt."

He answered, "I will certainly be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain."

God replied to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you."

"Go and assemble the elders of Israel and say to them: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me and said: I have paid close attention to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt.

And I promised you: You will inherit their land, since I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the LORD your God who set you apart from the peoples.

Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow [them], so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.

"If you listen to and are careful to keep these ordinances, the LORD your God will keep His covenant loyalty with you, as He swore to your fathers.

He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will bless your descendants, and the produce of your soil-- your grain, new wine, and oil-- the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks, in the land He swore to your fathers that He would give you.

The prophet Jeremiah said, " Amen! May the LORD do so. May the LORD make the words you have prophesied come true and may He restore the articles of the LORD's temple and all the exiles from Babylon to this place!

'Cursed is the person who makes a carved idol or cast image, which is detestable to the LORD, the work of a craftsman, and sets [it] up in secret.' And all the people will reply, ' Amen!'

'Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor's boundary marker.' And all the people will say, 'Amen!'

'Cursed is the one who denies justice to a foreign resident, a fatherless child, or a widow.' And all the people will say, 'Amen!'

'Cursed is the one who has sexual intercourse with any animal.' And all the people will say 'Amen!'

'Cursed is the one who sleeps with his mother-in-law.' And all the people will say, 'Amen!'

'Cursed is the one who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.' And all the people will say, 'Amen!'

And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [[For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]]

Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will the uninformed person say "Amen" at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?
