Shepherds and their flocks will come against her; they will pitch [their] tents all around her. Each will pasture his own portion.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 25:9
I am going to send for all the families of the north'-- [this is] the LORD's declaration-- 'and [send for] My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will bring them against this land, against its residents, and against all these surrounding nations, and I will completely destroy them and make them a desolation, a derision, and ruins forever.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 39:3
All the officials of the king of Babylon entered and sat at the Middle Gate: Nergal-sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim the Rab-saris, Nergal-sharezer the Rab-mag, and all the rest of the officials of Babylon's king.
my vineyard
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 80:8-16
8
You uprooted a vine from Egypt; You drove out the nations and planted it.
9
You cleared [a place] for it; it took root and filled the land.
10
The mountains were covered by its shade, and the mighty cedars with its branches.
11
It sent out sprouts toward the Sea and shoots toward the River.
12
Why have You broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its fruit?
13
The boar from the forest gnaws at it, and creatures of the field feed on it.
14
Return, God of Hosts. Look down from heaven and see; take care of this vine,
15
the root Your right hand has planted, the shoot that You made strong for Yourself.
16
It was cut down and burned up; they perish at the rebuke of Your countenance.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 5:1-7
1
I will sing about the one I love, a song about my loved one's vineyard: The one I love had a vineyard on a very fertile hill.
2
He broke up the soil, cleared it of stones, and planted it with the finest vines. He built a tower in the middle of it and even hewed out a winepress there. He expected it to yield good grapes, but it yielded worthless grapes.
3
So now, residents of Jerusalem and men of Judah, please judge between Me and My vineyard.
4
What more could I have done for My vineyard than I did? Why, when I expected a yield of good grapes, did it yield worthless grapes?
5
Now I will tell you what I am about to do to My vineyard: I will remove its hedge, and it will be consumed; I will tear down its wall, and it will be trampled.
6
I will make it a wasteland. It will not be pruned or weeded; thorns and briers will grow up. I will also give orders to the clouds that rain should not fall on it.
7
For the vineyard of the LORD of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah, the plant He delighted in. He looked for justice but saw injustice, for righteousness, but heard cries of wretchedness.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_42 20:9-16
9
Then He began to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, leased it to tenant farmers, and went away for a long time.
10
At harvest time he sent a slave to the farmers so that they might give him some fruit from the vineyard. But the farmers beat him and sent him away empty-handed.
11
He sent yet another slave, but they beat that one too, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed.
12
And he sent yet a third, but they wounded this one too and threw him out.
13
"Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What should I do? I will send my beloved son. Perhaps they will respect him.'
14
"But when the tenant farmers saw him, they discussed it among themselves and said, 'This is the heir. Let's kill him, so the inheritance will be ours!'
15
So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. "Therefore, what will the owner of the vineyard do to them?
16
He will come and destroy those farmers and give the vineyard to others." But when they heard this they said, "No-- never!"

So I defiled the officers of the sanctuary, and gave Jacob over to total destruction and Israel to abuse.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 63:18
Your holy people had a possession for a little while, [but] our enemies have trampled down Your sanctuary.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 1:10
The adversary has seized all her precious belongings. She has even seen the nations enter her sanctuary-- those You had forbidden to enter Your assembly.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 1:11
All her people groan while they search for bread. They have traded their precious belongings for food in order to stay alive. LORD, look and see how I have become despised.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_42 21:14
Therefore make up your minds not to prepare your defense ahead of time,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 11:2
But exclude the courtyard outside the sanctuary. Don't measure it, because it is given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.

ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 3:19
I thought: How I long to make you [My] sons and give you a desirable land, the most beautiful inheritance of all the nations. I thought: You will call Me, my Father, and never turn away from Me.
