I appointed watchmen over you [and said:] Listen for the sound of the ram's horn. But they protested: We won't listen!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 40:9
Zion, herald of good news, go up on a high mountain. Jerusalem, herald of good news, raise your voice loudly. Raise it, do not be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, "Here is your God!"
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the herald, who proclaims peace, who brings news of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 52:8
The voices of your watchmen-- they lift up their voices, shouting for joy together; for every eye will see when the LORD returns to Zion.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 62:6
Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen on your walls; they will never be silent, day or night. You, who remind the LORD, no rest for you!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 3:17
"Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 33:2
"Son of man, speak to your people and tell them: Suppose I bring the sword against a land, and the people of that land select a man from among them, appointing him as their watchman,

Ephraim's watchman is with my God. The prophet [encounters] a fowler's snare on all his ways. Hostility is in the house of his God!

ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 50:19
I will return Israel to his grazing land, and he will feed on Carmel and Bashan; he will be satisfied in the hill country of Ephraim and of Gilead.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_14 13:4
Then Abijah stood on Mount Zemaraim, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, and said, "Jeroboam and all Israel, hear me.

so they affirmed the proposal and spread the message throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba to Dan, to come to observe the Passover of the LORD God of Israel in Jerusalem, for they hadn't observed it often, as prescribed.
6
So the couriers went throughout Israel and Judah with letters from the hand of the king and his officials, and according to the king's command, saying, "Israelites, return to the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel so that He may return to those of you who remain, who have escaped from the grasp of the kings of Assyria.
7
Don't be like your fathers and your brothers who were unfaithful to the LORD God of their ancestors so that He made them an object of horror as you yourselves see.
8
Don't become obstinate now like your fathers did. Give your allegiance to the LORD, and come to His sanctuary that He has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God so that He may turn His fierce wrath away from you,
9
for when you return to the LORD, your brothers and your sons [will receive] mercy in the presence of their captors and will return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and merciful; He will not turn [His] face away from you if you return to Him."
10
The couriers traveled from city to city in the land of Ephraim and Manasseh as far as Zebulun, but the inhabitants laughed at them and mocked them.
11
But some from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.

Philip went down to a city in Samaria and preached the Messiah to them.
6
The crowds paid attention with one mind to what Philip said, as they heard and saw the signs he was performing.
7
For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.
8
So there was great joy in that city.
Arise
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 50:4
In those days and at that time-- [this is] the LORD's declaration-- the Israelites and Judeans will come together, weeping as they come, and will seek the LORD their God.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 50:5
They will ask about Zion, [turning] their faces to this road. They will come and join themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_15 1:5
So the family leaders of Judah and Benjamin, along with the priests and Levites-- everyone God had motivated-- prepared to go up and rebuild the LORD's house in Jerusalem.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_15 8:15-20
15
I gathered them at the river that flows to Ahava, and we camped there for three days. I searched among the people and priests, but found no Levites there.
16
Then I summoned the leaders: Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam, as well as the teachers Joiarib and Elnathan.
17
I sent them to Iddo, the leader at Casiphia, with a message for him and his brothers, the temple servants at Casiphia, that they should bring us ministers for the house of our God.
18
Since the gracious hand of our God was on us, they brought us Sherebiah-- a man of insight from the descendants of Mahli, a descendant of Levi son of Israel-- along with his sons and brothers, 18 men,
19
plus Hashabiah, along with Jeshaiah, from the descendants of Merari, and his brothers and their sons, 20 men.
20
There were also 220 of the temple servants, who had been appointed by David and the leaders for the work of the Levites. All were identified by name.

In the last days the mountain of the LORD's house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. All nations will stream to it,
3
and many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about His ways so that we may walk in His paths." For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4
He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will turn their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nations will not take up the sword against [other] nations, and they will never again train for war.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 11:11-13
11
On that day the Lord will [extend] His hand a second time to recover-- from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west-- the remnant of His people who survive.
12
He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13
Ephraim's envy will cease; Judah's harassment will end. Ephraim will no longer be envious of Judah, and Judah will not harass Ephraim.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_28 1:11
And the Judeans and the Israelites will be gathered together. They will appoint for themselves a single ruler, and go up from the land. For the day of Jezreel will be great.

The LORD of Hosts says this: "Peoples will yet come, the residents of many cities;
21
the residents of one city will go to another, saying: Let's go at once to plead for the LORD's favor and to seek the LORD of Hosts. I am also going.
22
Many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem and to plead for the LORD's favor."

The LORD of Hosts says this: "In those days, 10 men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."
