Should I not care about the great city of Nineveh, which has more than 120,000 people who cannot distinguish between their right and their left, as well as many animals?"

One who scatters is coming up against you. Man the fortifications! Watch the road! Brace yourself! Summon all your strength!
2
For the LORD will restore the majesty of Jacob, yes, the majesty of Israel, though ravagers have ravaged them and ruined their vine branches.
3
The shields of his warriors are dyed red; the valiant men are dressed in scarlet. The fittings of the chariot flash like fire on the day of its [battle] preparations, and the spears are brandished.

He will also stretch out His hand against the north and destroy Assyria; He will make Nineveh a desolate ruin, dry as the desert.
14
Herds will lie down in the middle of it, every kind of wild animal. Both the desert owl and the screech owl will roost in the capitals of its pillars. [Their] calls will sound from the window, but devastation will be on the threshold, for He will expose the cedar work.
15
This is the self-assured city that lives in security, that thinks to herself: I am, and there is no one besides me. What a desolation she has become, a place for wild animals to lie down! Everyone who passes by her jeers and shakes his fist.

Then the LORD said to me: Do not say: I am [only] a youth, for you will go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you.
8
Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to deliver you. [This is] the LORD's declaration.
9
Then the LORD reached out His hand, touched my mouth, and told me: Look, I have filled your mouth with My words.
10
See, today I have set you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and demolish, to build and plant.

But speak My words to them whether they listen or refuse [to listen], for they are rebellious.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 3:5-9
5
For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language but to the house of Israel.
6
[You are] not [being sent] to many peoples of unintelligible speech or difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. No doubt, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.
7
But the house of Israel will not want to listen to you because they do not want to listen to Me. For the whole house of Israel is hardheaded and hardhearted.
8
Look, I have made your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.
9
I have made your forehead like a diamond, harder than flint. Don't be afraid of them or discouraged by [the look on] their faces, even though they are a rebellious house."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_33 3:8
But as for me, I am filled with power by the Spirit of the LORD, with justice and courage, to proclaim to Jacob his rebellion and to Israel his sin.
