they shall

The LORD will afflict you with madness, blindness, and mental confusion,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_5 28:29
so that at noon you will grope as a blind man gropes in the dark. You will not be successful in anything you do. You will only be oppressed and robbed continually, and no one will help [you].
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 79:3
They poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there was no one to bury [them].
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 29:10
For the LORD has poured out on you an overwhelming urge to sleep; He has shut your eyes-- the prophets, and covered your heads-- the seers.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 59:9
Therefore justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We hope for light, but there is darkness; for brightness, but we live in the night.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 59:10
We grope along a wall like the blind; we grope like those without eyes. We stumble at noon as though it were twilight; [we are] like the dead among those who are healthy.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 4:14
Blind, they stumbled in the streets, defiled by this blood, so that no one dared to touch their garments.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_40 15:14
Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_43 9:40
Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and asked Him, "We aren't blind too, are we?"
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_43 9:41
"If you were blind," Jesus told them, "you wouldn't have sin. But now that you say, 'We see'-- your sin remains.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 11:7
What then? Israel did not find what it was looking for, but the elect did find it. The rest were hardened,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 11:25
So that you will not be conceited, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery: a partial hardening has come to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_47 4:4
Regarding them: the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_61 1:9
The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted, and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_62 2:11
But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and doesn't know where he's going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 3:17
Because you say, 'I'm rich; I have become wealthy, and need nothing,' and you don't know that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked,
because
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 24:5
The earth is polluted by its inhabitants, for they have transgressed teachings, overstepped decrees, and broken the everlasting covenant.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 24:6
Therefore a curse has consumed the earth, and its inhabitants have become guilty; the earth's inhabitants have been burned, and only a few survive.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 50:1
This is what the LORD says: Where is your mother's divorce certificate that I used to send her away? Or who were My creditors that I sold you to? Look, you were sold for your iniquities, and your mother was put away because of your transgressions.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_23 59:12-15
12
For our transgressions have multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, and we know our iniquities:
13
transgression and deception against the LORD, turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering lying words from the heart.
14
Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has stumbled in the public square, and honesty cannot enter.
15
Truth is missing, and whoever turns from evil is plundered. The LORD saw that there was no justice, and He was offended.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 2:17
Have you not brought this on yourself by abandoning the LORD your God while He was leading you along the way?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 2:19
Your own evil will discipline you; your own apostasies will reprimand you. Think it over and see how evil and bitter it is for you to abandon the LORD your God and to have no fear of Me. [This is] the declaration of the Lord God of Hosts.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 4:18
Your way of life and your actions have brought this on you. This is your punishment. It is very bitter, because it has reached your heart!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 1:8
Jerusalem has sinned grievously; therefore, she has become an object of scorn. All who honored her [now] despise her, for they have seen her nakedness. She herself groans and turns away.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 1:14
My transgressions have been formed into a yoke, fastened together by His hand; they have been placed on my neck, and the Lord has broken my strength. He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 1:18
The LORD is in the right, for I have rebelled against His command. Listen, all you people; look at my pain. My young men and women have gone into captivity.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 4:13-15
13
[Yet it happened] because of the sins of her prophets and the guilt of her priests, who shed the blood of the righteous within her.
14
Blind, they stumbled in the streets, defiled by this blood, so that no one dared to touch their garments.
15
"Stay away! Unclean!" people shouted at them. "Away, away! Don't touch [us]!" So they wandered aimlessly. It was said among the nations, "They can stay here no longer."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 5:16
The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 5:17
Because of this, our heart is sick; because of these, our eyes grow dim:
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_26 22:25-31
25
The conspiracy of her prophets within her is like a roaring lion tearing [its] prey: they devour people, seize wealth and valuables, and multiply the widows within her.
26
Her priests do violence to My law and profane My holy things. They make no distinction between the holy and the common, and they do not explain the difference between the clean and the unclean. They disregard My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
27
"Her officials within her are like wolves tearing [their] prey, shedding blood, and destroying lives in order to get unjust gain.
28
Her prophets plaster with whitewash for them by seeing false visions and lying divinations, and they say: This is what the Lord God says, when the LORD has not spoken.
29
The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy and unlawfully exploited the foreign resident.
30
I searched for a man among them who would repair the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land so that I might not destroy it, but I found no one.
31
So I have poured out My indignation on them and consumed them with the fire of My fury. I have brought their actions down on their own heads." [This is] the declaration of the Lord God.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_27 9:5-19
5
we have sinned, done wrong, acted wickedly, rebelled, and turned away from Your commandments and ordinances.
6
We have not listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, leaders, fathers, and all the people of the land.
7
Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel-- those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where You have dispersed them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward You.
8
LORD, public shame belongs to us, our kings, our leaders, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
9
Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against Him
10
and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God by following His instructions that He set before us through His servants the prophets.
11
All Israel has broken Your law and turned away, refusing to obey You. The promised cursewritten in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been poured out on us because we have sinned against Him.
12
He has carried out His words that He spoke against us and against our rulers by bringing on us so great a disaster that nothing like what has been done to Jerusalem has ever been done under all of heaven.
13
Just as it is written in the law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not appeased the LORD our God by turning from our injustice and paying attention to Your truth.
14
So the LORD kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all He has done. But we have not obeyed Him.
15
Now, Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and made Your name [renowned] as it is this day, we have sinned, we have acted wickedly.
16
Lord, in keeping with all Your righteous acts, may Your anger and wrath turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the injustices of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become an object of ridicule to all those around us.
17
Therefore, our God, hear the prayer and the petitions of Your servant. Show Your favor to Your desolate sanctuary for the Lord's sake.
18
Listen, my God, and hear. Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city called by Your name. For we are not presenting our petitions before You based on our righteous acts, but based on Your abundant compassion.
19
Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and act! My God, for Your own sake, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_33 3:9-12
9
Listen to this, leaders of the house of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice and pervert everything that is right,
10
who build Zion with bloodshed and Jerusalem with injustice.
11
Her leaders issue rulings for a bribe, her priests teach for payment, and her prophets practice divination for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, saying, "Isn't the LORD among us? No calamity will overtake us."
12
Therefore, because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become ruins, and the hill of the temple mount will be a thicket.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_33 7:13
Then the earth will become a wasteland because of its inhabitants, and as a result of their actions.
and their blood

33
and he said, "Throw her down!" So they threw her down, and some of her blood splattered on the wall and on the horses, and Jehu rode over her.
34
Then he went in, ate and drank, and said, "Take care of this cursed woman and bury her, since she's a king's daughter."
35
But when they went out to bury her, they did not find anything but her skull, her feet, and the palms of her hands.
36
So they went back and told him, and he said, "This [fulfills] the LORD's word that He spoke through His servant Elijah the Tishbite: 'In the plot of land at Jezreel, the dogs will eat Jezebel's flesh.
37
Jezebel's corpse will be like manure on the surface of the field in the plot of land at Jezreel so that no one will [be able] to say: This is Jezebel.'"
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 79:2
They gave the corpses of Your servants to the birds of the sky for food, the flesh of Your godly ones to the beasts of the earth.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 79:3
They poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there was no one to bury [them].
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_19 83:10
They were destroyed at En-dor; they became manure for the ground.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 9:21
for Death has climbed through our windows; it has entered our fortresses, cutting off children from the streets, young men from the squares.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 9:22
Speak as follows: This is what the LORD says: Human corpses will fall like manure on the surface of the field, like newly cut grain after the reaper with no one to gather [it].
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 15:3
"I will ordain four kinds [of judgment] for them"-- [this is] the LORD's declaration-- "the sword to kill, the dogs to drag away, and the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the land to devour and destroy.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 16:4-6
4
They will die from deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like manure on the face of the earth. They will be finished off by sword and famine. Their corpses will become food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land.
5
"For this is what the LORD says: Don't enter a house where a mourning feast is taking place. Don't go to lament or sympathize with them, for I have removed My peace from these people"-- [this is] the LORD's declaration-- "[as well as My] faithful love and compassion.
6
Both great and small will die in this land without burial. No lament will be made for them, nor will anyone cut himself or shave his head for them.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_24 18:21
Therefore, hand their children over to famine, and pour the sword's power on them. Let their wives become childless and widowed, their husbands slain by deadly disease, their young men struck down by the sword in battle.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 2:21
[Both] young and old are lying on the ground in the streets. My young men and women have fallen by the sword. You have killed [them] in the day of Your anger, slaughtering without compassion.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_25 4:14
Blind, they stumbled in the streets, defiled by this blood, so that no one dared to touch their garments.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_30 4:10
I sent plagues like those of Egypt; I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured horses. I caused the stench of your camp to fill your nostrils, yet you did not return to Me-- the LORD's declaration.
