His glory is great through Your victory; You confer majesty and splendor on him.

Mighty warrior, strap your sword at your side. In your majesty and splendor--

in your splendor ride triumphantly in the cause of truth, humility, and justice. May your right hand show your awe-inspiring deeds.

May his name endure forever; as long as the sun shines, may his fame increase. May all nations be blessed by him and call him blessed.

May His glorious name be praised forever; the whole earth is filled with His glory. Amen and amen.

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

On that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His resting place will be glorious.

They will hang on him the whole burden of his father's house: the descendants and the offshoots-- all the small vessels, from bowls to every kind of jar.

And now, says the LORD, who formed me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob back to Him so that Israel might be gathered to Him; for I am honored in the sight of the LORD, and my God is my strength--

He says, "It is not enough for you to be My servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make you a light for the nations, to be My salvation to the ends of the earth."

In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is what He will be named: The LORD Is Our Righteousness.

I continued watching in the night visions, and I saw One like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before Him.

He was given authority to rule, and glory, and a kingdom; so that those of every people, nation, and language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

When he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.

If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself and will glorify Him at once.

Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son so that the Son may glorify You,

This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent-- Jesus Christ.

Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with that glory I had with You before the world existed.

He demonstrated [this power] in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens--

And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church,

Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a slave, taking on the likeness of men. And when He had come as a man in His external form,

For this reason God also highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name,

and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

You made him lower than the angels for a short time; You crowned him with glory and honor

But we do see Jesus-- made lower than the angels for a short time so that by God's grace He might taste death for everyone-- crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death.

Now that He has gone into heaven, He is at God's right hand, with angels, authorities, and powers subjected to Him.

The victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also won the victory and sat down with My Father on His throne.

And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals; because You were slaughtered, and You redeemed [people] for God by Your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Then I looked, and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures, and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.

I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say: Blessing and honor and glory and dominion to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!

Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse! Its rider is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

He wore a robe stained with blood, and His name is called the Word of God.

From His mouth came a sharp sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. He will shepherd them with an iron scepter. He will also trample the winepress of the fierce anger of God, the Almighty.

Take silver and gold, make crowns and place them on the head of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

Then Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine; he was a priest to God Most High.

The LORD has sworn an oath and will not take it back: "Forever, You are a priest like Melchizedek."

Therefore, holy brothers and companions in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession;

Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens-- Jesus the Son of God-- let us hold fast to the confession.

Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.

Jesus has entered there on our behalf as a forerunner, because He has become a "high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."

For this Melchizedek-- King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham and blessed him as he returned from defeating the kings,

But because He remains forever, He holds His priesthood permanently.

Therefore He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.

He doesn't need to offer sacrifices every day, as high priests do-- first for their own sins, then for those of the people. He did this once for all when He offered Himself.

But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.

He is now waiting until His enemies are made His footstool.

"These are the two anointed ones," he said, "who stand by the Lord of the whole earth."

His salvation is very near those who fear Him, so that glory may dwell in our land.

Truth will spring up from the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven.

Though the mountains move and the hills shake, My love will not be removed from you and My covenant of peace will not be shaken," says your compassionate LORD.

Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and 62 weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.

He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator."

He will stand and shepherd [them] in the strength of Yahweh, in the majestic name of Yahweh His God. They will live securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.

He sent the message to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ-- He is Lord of all.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and curing all who were under the tyranny of the Devil, because God was with Him.

God raised up this man on the third day and permitted Him to be seen,

He commanded us to preach to the people, and to solemnly testify that He is the One appointed by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.

He did away with the law of the commandments in regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace.

When [Christ] came, He proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.

To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ in Colossae. Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything.

and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross-- whether things on earth or things in heaven.

For this Melchizedek-- King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham and blessed him as he returned from defeating the kings,

without father, mother, or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God-- remains a priest forever.
