"Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it is to be burned up. Everyone who is clean may eat any [other] meat.
Then Haggai asked, "If someone defiled by [contact with] a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?" The priests answered, "It becomes defiled."
Anyone who touches his bed is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
For from the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.
These are the things that defile a man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
For from within, out of people's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders,
adulteries, greed, evil actions, deceit, lewdness, stinginess, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
All these evil things come from within and defile a person."
