The Israelites traveled on and camped in the plains of Moab near the Jordan across from Jericho.
These were the ones registered by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they registered the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan [across from] Jericho.
They camped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth to Acacia Meadows on the plains of Moab.
The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan [across from] Jericho,
Across the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to explain this law, saying:
So Balak took him to Lookout Field on top of Pisgah, built seven altars, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.
Go to the top of Pisgah and look to the west, north, south, and east, and see [it] with your own eyes, for you will not cross this Jordan.
and all the Arabah on the east side of the Jordan as far as the Dead Sea below the slopes of Pisgah.
Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which faces Jericho, and the LORD showed him all the land: Gilead as far as Dan,
So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, which overlooks the wasteland.
