He that hath two

But give to charity what is within, and then everything is clean for you.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_42 18:22
When Jesus heard this, He told him, "You still lack one thing: sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_42 19:8
But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, "Look, I'll give half of my possessions to the poor, Lord! And if I have extorted anything from anyone, I'll pay back four times as much!"

7
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your house, to clothe the naked when you see him, and to not ignore your own flesh [and blood]?
8
Then your light will appear like the dawn, and your recovery will come quickly. Your righteousness will go before you, and the LORD's glory will be your rear guard.
9
At that time, when you call, the LORD will answer; when you cry out, He will say: Here I am. If you get rid of the yoke from those around you, the finger-pointing and malicious speaking,
10
and if you offer yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted one, then your light will shine in the darkness, and your night will be like noonday.
11
The LORD will always lead you, satisfy you in a parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose waters never run dry.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_27 4:27
Therefore, may my advice seem good to you my king. Separate yourself from your sins by doing what is right, and from your injustices by showing mercy to the needy. Perhaps there will be an extension of your prosperity."
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_40 25:40
"And the King will answer them, 'I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.'

5
For this oil might have been sold for more than 300 denarii and given to the poor." And they began to scold her.
6
Then Jesus said, "Leave her alone. Why are you bothering her? She has done a noble thing for Me.
7
You always have the poor with you, and you can do good for them whenever you want, but you do not always have Me.
8
She has done what she could; she has anointed My body in advance for burial.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_43 13:29
Since Judas kept the money-bag, some thought that Jesus was telling him, "Buy what we need for the festival," or that he should give something to the poor.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_44 10:2
He was a devout man and feared God along with his whole household. He did many charitable deeds for the [Jewish] people and always prayed to God.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_44 10:4
Looking intently at him, he became afraid and said, "What is it, Lord?" And he told him, "Your prayers and your acts of charity have come up as a memorial offering before God.

and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your acts of charity have been remembered in God's sight.

3
I testify that, on their own, according to their ability and beyond their ability,
4
they begged us insistently for the privilege of sharing in the ministry to the saints,
5
and not just as we had hoped. Instead, they gave themselves especially to the Lord, then to us by God's will.
6
So we urged Titus that, just as he had begun, so he should also complete this grace to you.
7
Now as you excel in everything-- in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us-- excel also in this grace.
8
I am not saying this as a command. Rather, by means of the diligence of others, I am testing the genuineness of your love.
9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: although He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.
10
Now I am giving an opinion on this because it is profitable for you, who a year ago began not only to do something but also to desire it.
11
But now finish the task as well, that just as there was eagerness to desire it, so there may also be a completion from what you have.
12
For if the eagerness is there, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.
13
It is not that there may be relief for others and hardship for you, but it is a question of equality--
14
at the present time your surplus is [available] for their need, so that their abundance may also become [available] for your need, that there may be equality.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_54 6:18
[Instruct them] to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_58 6:10
For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you showed for His name when you served the saints-- and you continue to serve them.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_59 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_59 2:15-26
15
If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food,
16
and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you don't give them what the body needs, what good is it?
17
In the same way faith, if it doesn't have works, is dead by itself.
18
But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works.
19
You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe-- and they shudder.
20
Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?
21
Wasn't Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
22
You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected.
23
So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God's friend.
24
You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.
25
And in the same way, wasn't Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by a different route?
26
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_62 3:17
If anyone has this world's goods and sees his brother in need but shuts off his compassion from him-- how can God's love reside in him?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_62 4:20
If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
