When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple He loved standing there, He said to His mother, "Woman, here is your son."
Then He said to the disciple, "Here is your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
They said to her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "Because they've taken away my Lord," she told them, "and I don't know where they've put Him."
"Woman," Jesus said to her, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Supposing He was the gardener, she replied, "Sir, if you've removed Him, tell me where you've put Him, and I will take Him away."
Then Jesus replied to her, "Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want." And from that moment her daughter was cured.
He said about his father and mother, "I do not regard them." He disregarded his brothers and didn't acknowledge his sons, for they kept Your word and maintained Your covenant.
The king replied, "Sons of Zeruiah, do we agree on anything? He curses [me] this way because the LORD told him, 'Curse David!' Therefore, who can say, 'Why did you do that?'"
David answered, "Sons of Zeruiah, do we agree on anything? Have you become my adversary today? Should any man be killed in Israel today? Am I not aware that today I'm king over Israel?"
"Why were you searching for Me?" He asked them. "Didn't you know that I had to be in my Father's house?"
From now on, then, we do not know anyone in a purely human way. Even if we have known Christ in a purely human way, yet now we no longer know Him like that.
But we did not yield in submission to these people for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel would remain for you.
But from those recognized as important (what they really were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism)-- those recognized as important added nothing to me.
Jesus told them, "My time has not yet arrived, but your time is always at hand.
Then they tried to seize Him. Yet no one laid a hand on Him because His hour had not yet come.
He spoke these words by the treasury, while teaching in the temple complex. But no one seized Him, because His hour had not come.
Jesus replied to them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Before the Passover Festival, Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
