God has fulfilled this to us their children by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm: You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.
For David himself says in the Book of Psalms: The Lord declared to my Lord, 'Sit at My right hand
Then He told them, "These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you-- that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled."
Make their fortification desolate; may no one live in their tents.
Let his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.
Let his children wander as beggars, searching [for food] far from their demolished homes.
Let a creditor seize all he has; let strangers plunder what he has worked for.
Let no one show him kindness, and let no one be gracious to his fatherless children.
Let the line of his descendants be cut off; let their name be blotted out in the next generation.
Let his forefathers' guilt be remembered before the LORD, and do not let his mother's sin be blotted out.
Let their sins always remain before the LORD, and let Him cut off [all] memory of them from the earth.
Then he said to me, "This is the curse that is going out over the whole land, for every thief will be removed according to what is written on one side, and everyone who swears [falsely] will be removed according to what is written on the other side.
I will send it out,"-- the declaration of the LORD of Hosts-- "and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It will stay inside his house and destroy it along with its timbers and stones."

Let his days be few; let another take over his position.
