ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_47 2:4
For out of an extremely troubled and anguished heart I wrote to you with many tears-- not that you should be hurt, but that you should know the abundant love I have for you.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_47 7:3-10
3
I don't say this to condemn you, for I have already said that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.
4
I have great confidence in you; I have great pride in you. I am filled with encouragement; I am overcome with joy in all our afflictions.
5
In fact, when we came into Macedonia, we had no rest. Instead, we were afflicted in every way: struggles on the outside, fears inside.
6
But God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
7
and not only by his coming, but also by the comfort he received from you. He announced to us your deep longing, your sorrow, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more.
8
For although I grieved you with my letter, I do not regret it-- even though I did regret it since I saw that the letter grieved you, though only for a little while.
9
Now I am rejoicing, not because you were grieved, but because your grief led to repentance. For you were grieved as God willed, so that you didn't experience any loss from us.
10
For godly grief produces a repentance not to be regretted and leading to salvation, but worldly grief produces death.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_40 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, because they will be comforted.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_40 5:12
Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_42 6:21
Blessed are you who are hungry now, because you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, because you will laugh.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_43 16:22
So you also have sorrow now. But I will see you again. Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will rob you of your joy.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_44 5:41
Then they went out from the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to be dishonored on behalf of the name.

ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 5:3
And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 9:2
that I have intense sorrow and continual anguish in my heart.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 12:15
Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_45 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_50 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_52 3:7-10
7
Therefore, brothers, in all our distress and persecution, we were encouraged about you through your faith.
8
For now we live, if you stand firm in the Lord.
9
How can we thank God for you in return for all the joy we experience because of you before our God,
10
as we pray earnestly night and day to see you face to face and to complete what is lacking in your faith?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_52 5:16
Rejoice always!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_58 10:34
For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, knowing that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_59 1:2-4
2
Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials,
3
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4
But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_60 1:6-8
6
You rejoice in this, though now for a short time you have had to be distressed by various trials
7
so that the genuineness of your faith-- more valuable than gold, which perishes though refined by fire-- may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
8
You love Him, though you have not seen Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_60 4:13
Instead, as you share in the sufferings of the Messiah rejoice, so that you may also rejoice with great joy at the revelation of His glory.

Now if their stumbling brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full number bring!
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_49 3:8
This grace was given to me-- the least of all the saints!-- to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_49 3:16
[I pray] that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_51 3:16
Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God.

[Instruct them] to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share,
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_59 2:5
Listen, my dear brothers: Didn't God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_66 2:9
I know your tribulation and poverty, yet you are rich. [I know] the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

For all this is because of you, so that grace, extended through more and more people, may cause thanksgiving to overflow to God's glory.

Acquire wisdom-- how much better it is than gold! And acquire understanding-- it is preferable to silver.

So if you have not been faithful with the unrighteous money, who will trust you with what is genuine?
ZEFANIABIBLE_BIBLE_BOOK_NAME_42 16:12
