Uncharted (4/5/2020)
Sun, Apr 05, 2020
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Matthew 6:25
So many times God's leading in our lives takes us to uncharted territory. This can cause fear of the unknown as we have not gone this way before. That's where we find ourselves as we face a global virus pandemic. But what is unknown to us is known to God. We don't have to worry about the future because the future is in His hands. Join us Sunday for our LIVE STREAM ONLY service as we learn what it takes to let go of our worry and anxiety and trust in God when we are in a place that is UNCHARTED.

Practice Makes Perfect (3/29/2020)
Sun, Mar 29, 2020
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Mark 10:13
Series:
Our Imperfect Family
Practice makes perfect. Those words have been drilled into musicians and athletes, and rightly so. When it comes to parenting, there are many principles we must practice to raise our children go be godly adults. But there is none better to show us than Jesus, who said “let the children come to me.” . His approach to children is perfect for us to practice in our imperfect family.

Jesse Hicks
Passage:
Hebrews 10:19
&

It's Sunday morning and I'm on my way to church. What should I expect? What is expected of me? What should my mind be focused on? What are my thoughts about myself, my church family, and God. In As We Gather, Discipleship Pastor Jesse Hicks answers those questions and discovers what it means to be intentional every time we come together for worship.

Fire Extinguishers (3/8/2020)
Sun, Mar 08, 2020
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Acts 15:1
Series:
2020 Vision
It is hard to understand why churches fight, why churches die, why people don’t go to church, why people who used to go to church quit going to church and why a lot of people who keep going to church don’t enjoy it. Nothing will kill the heart, the spirit, the mission, the passion, or the effectiveness of the church greater than fire extinguishers. There are four things a church absolutely can’t do or the fire will go out.

Fire and Water (3/1/2020)
Sun, Mar 01, 2020
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Acts 10:1
&
Mark 1-4
Series:
2020 Vision
Interestingly enough when you study the Book of Acts every time someone was set on fire for the first time by the Holy Spirit, guess what they did? They jumped in the water. Specifically, they jumped into the water of baptism, but there is one difference. Normally, water extinguishes fire, but in this case baptismal water enhances fire.

Man On Fire (2/23/2020)
Sun, Feb 23, 2020
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Acts 9:1
Series:
2020 Vision
We’ve all seen it. An athlete is suddenly “on fire” and can’t miss a bucket, can’t be stopped, can’t be beaten and changes the outcome of a game. The early church had its own superstar, and man was he on fire! He even started out on the wrong team. But as we will learn, when we are on fire for God, life change happens and we discover a new purpose burning in our hearts.

Sun, Feb 02, 2020
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Acts 2:42
&
Romans 15:1
Series:
2020 Vision
Over the years there have been many fires in our country. Some of them happened so long ago that there is no evidence that a fire was even there. Not so with the church. The fires that started 2000 years ago still burn bright. What does a church look like when a fire burns brightly? There are four simple signs

Light Your World (12/29/19)
Sun, Dec 29, 2019
by
Jesse Hicks
While Jesus walked this earth, He was the Light of the world. And in the Sermon on the Mount, He said to His disciples, “You are the light of the world” (Matt. 5:14). We are not the source of light; Christ is. But as believers, we have His presence dwelling within us through His Holy Spirit. We are merely the beacons through which He shines into this dark world. Join us the Sunday after Christmas for one service only at 11:00 AM, and listen as Discipleship Pastor Jesse Hicks challenges us to shine our light in 2020.

Find Him in the Unbelievable (12/22/19)
Sun, Dec 22, 2019
by
Bobby Martin
Passage:
Luke 1:8
Series:
Searching for Christmas
The first ones to receive the news of Jesus’ birth was a group of illiterate and unrefined shepherds. How could someone so undeserving be on the top of God’s list? Perhaps it’s because God wants EVERYONE to find His Son. And for those who find Him, there are four unbelievable gifts waiting especially for them.
